Violent Armed Robber Charged in Brutal Hustler Casino Attack
A violent armed robbery suspect who targeted Hustler Casino has been arrested and charged with multiple serious offenses across Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Oshae Pollard, 21, allegedly assaulted and robbed a woman in the Hustler Casino parking lot in Gardena on August 25. During the attack, he reportedly pushed the victim down, placed a semi-automatic pistol in her mouth breaking several teeth, and stole her purse containing $1,000-$2,000 after threatening to kill her.

The casino incident was part of a larger crime spree between August 25 and September 22, including:
- Robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint at a Carson donut shop
- Stealing $44,000 worth of items from luxury car owners at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, including firing shots at a Ferrari
- Shooting a victim twice during an attempted robbery at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa
Pollard faces federal charges of interference with commerce by robbery and use of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. If convicted, he could face significant prison time.
"The violence alleged in this complaint shocks the conscience," said US Attorney Martin Estrada, who confirmed the case is part of Operation Safe Cities, an initiative targeting violent gun crime in collaboration with local law enforcement.
The final robbery attempt at South Coast Plaza ended when the shooting victim fought back, repeatedly kicking Pollard until he fled. Despite suffering gunshot wounds to his hand and thigh, the victim recovered from his injuries.
